Woodland Kingfisher (Halcyon senegalensis)
The Woodland Kingfisher is a summer
visitor to this area. Breeds from November to March, in a hole in
a tree.
Feeds on insects, lizards, millipedes and frogs. Not often found
eating fish.
Habitat is mainly savanna woodland and dense riverine bush.
