Candelabra tree (Euphorbia cooperi)
The
Candelabra tree is a succulent tree with highly toxic latex. It has
a sturdy main stem with a large round crown. Grows on rocky hillsides.
The branchlets are deeply constricted, forming heart shaped segments.
The acrid smelling latex has been used as a fish poison. Flowers are
yellowish green in clusters and the fruit is orange / red.
