Emperor Moth (family Saturniidae)

Adult has no mouth parts and can not
feed. It only lives two or three days. Larvae are sometimes collected for food.
(Mopani worms). The cocoons of pupae are sometimes collected and used as rattles
on legs and arms by African tribes in traditional dress.
